# SimplePack 2.0 Accelerometer Lockout (Continuous Triggering Error)

{% hint style="warning" %}
Please note the SimplePack 2.0 is a **legacy** device and is not available anymore.
{% endhint %}

Should you encounter **permanent triggering** (movement alert when the device is not moved), please check the **accelerometer sensitivity** value set by Sigfox downlink.

{% hint style="warning" %}
This value should be equal or higher than **0x07**!
{% endhint %}

In some very rare cases and in a small production batch, the accelerometer gets **stuck** - the solution is easy, just **drop the device from a height of circa 20cm on a table**. This short acceleration impulse will **unlock** the tiny mechanical parts inside of the accelerometer and the sensor starts working immediately. This is a permanent fix.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://ask.simplehw.eu/kb/simple-api-6-generation/overview/device-list/simplepack/legacy/simplepack-2.0-accelerometer-lockout-continuous-triggering-error.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
