SimpleIndustry CO2 or SimpleIndustry CH4 Sensors

Device installation

  1. Fix the holder to a wall with screws or double-sided tape

  2. Hook the device into the holder

  3. Slide in the sensor cover

Device activation

  1. place the magnet on the upper part of the device for ~1 sec

  2. the device will start blinking

CO2 fresh-air calibration

There is no need to manually calibrate the device - it calibrates itself in a week after installation. The first-week device may show drifted values (factory-made calibration is dependent on sea level) but within a week the sensor will recalibrate automatically.

It is possible to trigger manual calibration:

Please ensure the device is placed in a well-ventilated room for approx. 1h. Calibration can be triggered by "triple-click" (3x short magnet action). Calibration is indicated by LED pattern ------ -- ------- and it takes 90s. During calibration, there should not be any persons in the room.

We don't recommend performing calibration outdoors because wind and direct sunshine can affect the process of calibration.

CH4 zero-calibration

The sensor is zeroed during the arming/activating of the device. It is important to activate the device without the presence of CH4.

It is possible to trigger manual zero–calibration:

Please ensure the device is placed in a well-ventilated room for approx. 1h without the presence of CH4. Calibration can be triggered by "triple-click" (3x short magnet action). Calibration is indicated by LED pattern ------ -- ------- and it takes 90s.

We don't recommend performing calibration outdoors because wind and direct sunshine can affect the process of calibration.
