About the Simple Hardware Company¶
We started out as the hardware branch of the Czech Sigfox Operator - one of the co-founders of the SO, Pavel Sodomka, later bought the hardware branch out and that's how Simple Hardware came into existence. Pavel has been the CEO since the company started back in 2016.
Simple Hardware strives to produce devices that are unmatched on the market and we focus on covering as many use cases as possible while delivering products with supreme radio performance and sleek design.
Our devices are currently deployed in 50+ countries worldwide and we keep innovating and delivering.
Do we provide any consulting services?¶
Yes... and no. We will definitely help you in case you want to implement our devices as solutions, but we do not offer any paid consulting-only services.
Are we a design house?¶
We are, but we design primarily for ourselves :) If you have a really cool idea and ideally financial backing for it, you can get in touch with us at:
Are we hiring?¶
As a dynamic startup, we always have things to do around here. If you think you're up for the challenge, feel free to get in touch with us through this form.
Are we open to a business partnership?¶
Of course we are! We are selling our devices to almost every continent on Earth (currently, we do not have any information that our devices are used in Antarctica, but they are pretty much anywhere else!), which means that becoming our partner is not only possible, but also very easy. You can read about the Premium Partner Program on our website.
Where are Simple Hardware devices made?¶
All of our products are made in our home country - the Czech Republic.
Can I buy working Simple Hardware devices right now?¶
Yes you can! Our devices are available for immediate purchase - you can find in-stock products on our eshop. Please note that before you buy, you should know exactly what you want to do with the devices and whether they can cover it or not and understand the technology and its limitations.
Is it possible to buy a SimpleHw GPS, LoRa or NB-IoT tracker?¶
Not as of now... And we will not be producing any LoRa or NB-IoT devices anytime soon. Our devices are based on Sigfox. Our devices cover use cases that we think are best covered by the Sigfox technology. If you're interested in more information, here's our take on the differences of the three IoT technologies.
When it comes for GPS - GPS modules require a lot of battery to operate, our devices are designed in a way that allows them to last years/tens of years, which would simply not be possible with GPS.
